Dearëst Zoë,

We had such a fun morning today!  It was a little clouded over, but no lightening or thunder so we headed to the local city pool and had a dip during their tiny tots hour.  It was great for both of us.  I didn't have to worry about older kids leaping on you and potentially hurting you and you had much more space and room to roam around and splash about.  They turned the kiddie sprinklers on right when you were sitting on one so you seemed to take credit for them all coming to life at the same time.  You ran around for a little while with a huge grin proclaiming "I did it!"  The other really funny thing was that occasionally you would run over to a spray of water, back into it and shake your booty.  You looked so funny.  There was a little girl there who you played with most of the time.  I really enjoyed watching you two splash around together, holding hands and giggling at each other. 

After the pool closed, we walked over to the playground.  You spent a lot of time on the swings which is unusual for you.  While I was pushing you in the little kids swing, I had you hold your arms out and flap them and say "I'm flying" which you did with a lot of enthusiasm.  Every time you'd swing towards me, I'd tickle you under the chin and you'd laugh and bring your shoulders up like a turtle trying to retreat into its shell.  We had a great time together and when it was time to leave, you didn't make a single fuss.  I just wanted you to spend some time out of the house because since your Daddy's surgery, there hasn't been much of that for you.
