Although I am very grateful for the opportunity to stay home with you during the day, I'm often at a loss as to how to occupy you for all that time. I'm very excited to have ordered pre-k curriculum from Little Acorn Learning. It's based on the Waldorf/Montessori traditions. I don't buy into everything associated with those education styles, but I like that it gives us a base to build on that is rich with fairytales, art, music and nature appreciation as well as an emphasis on healthy, whole foods. It's a good start and I could really use the help in building some structure into our day.
